Switching from Adobe Illustrator to Figma

I apparently missed the boat when it came time to set sail on the Sketch ship. One of the reasons is because I own a Windows PC versus a Mac. My experience with Adobe Illustrator started a few years ago when I discovered artboards. Coming from Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Lightroom editing workflow at my previous gig Illustrator really gave me no lines to work within for organizing client content. Obviosly those days are long gone since there are sweet multi-platform cloud-based systems to design, code, track, and comment.

While I still use Illustrator for specific actions and to refer to old project files I am working on converting the active project files over to figma using AdobeXD/SVG Export plugin.

I have been using Adobe Illustrator for layout and mockup work for the past 6.5 years and am really excited to switch over to Figma.Kris Aguero
